About

Free Online Pool, Snooker & Billiards Game

Play free online pool, snooker and carom billiards with Tailuge Billiards, an open-source 3D cue sports simulator. Play 8-ball, 9-ball, snooker and three-cushion billiards directly in your browser on desktop or mobile. No download, installation or account required. Practise shots, challenge other players or explore realistic ball motion, spin and cushion rebounds.

The game uses a physics engine based on published research into billiard-ball motion, collisions and cushion impacts. Adjust your aim, spin and shot power, experiment with different positions, and study how the cue ball moves around the table.

Pool, Snooker and Carom Games

Two practice bots, ClawBreak and TheFarJaw, play when nobody else is around; the speedrun challenge races you against the clock, and the reveal game uncovers pictures with straight-pool potting.

Realistic billiards physics

This online billiards simulator models how balls roll, collide, spin and rebound from the cushions. Its physics are based on published research rather than purely visual approximations. Explore ball-to-ball collisions, throw, spin and cushion rebounds, and see how these effects change the path of a shot. Ball motion follows Han (2005) with corrections noted by Kiefl; ball-to-ball collisions follow Alciatore, including the throw effect; and cushion impacts use Mathavan (2010), with Stronge's compliant-cushion model available as an alternative. Spin, throw and cushion rebound can all be inspected and re-tuned on the three-cushion physics page.

Online Multiplayer Pool and Billiards

Play online billiards against other players. The multiplayer lobby shows who is online and lets you challenge available opponents. Use two-tab mode to play across two windows on one device, or join scheduled arenas for timed tournaments. High breaks appear on the leaderboard and rated games contribute to your Glicko-2 rating.
