Mathavan
-
μs (ball-table sliding friction)
Lower → topspin/backspin/corkscrew take longer to wear off and
transition to natural roll.
-
μw (ball-cushion friction)
Lower → sidespin has less effect changing the rebound angle off the
rail, and more sidespin remains on the cueball.
Stronge
-
stronge_e_n (Normal restitution)
— higher = springier cushion, less energy lost on direct impacts.
-
stronge_μ (Cushion friction) —
lower = slippery cushion, sidespin alters rebound angle less.
-
stronge_omega_ratio (Stiffness ratio)
— controls normal/tangential frequency ratio; higher = smoother,
more delayed spin transfer.
Han
-
muS (sliding friction) —
controls how fast the cue ball "grabs" the cloth with spin.
-
mu (rolling friction) —
controls how quickly a rolling ball stops.
